We thought that some top tips around self-care and wellbeing were what we all needed in these current times!
So Louise chatted to Sara @thenourishapp about this and ideas for how as parents we can carve out some much needed time to look after us, so we are fully equipped to look after others.
Self-care is essential and allows us to be able to show up as our best-self in work, as parents and in life, but all too often it’s the first ball we drop.
Here are Sara’s brilliant, practical top tips to help us manage feelings of exhaustion and how to overcome the barriers that appear to stand in our way of taking time out for ourselves – mainly time and guilt.
We hope you enjoy the tips as much as we did – a big take away for us is committing to a certain time each day to practice self-care – this could be a simple as deep breathing whilst making a cup of tea – whatever works for you and helps you stay balanced and feeling positive.
