We are Mission Driven Talent – a recruitment agency focussed on supporting businesses with a purpose beyond profits! We pair talented candidates who share a passion for making a difference with startup clients who have a range of environmental and social impact missions. We work with some great companies across Food & Beverages, edtech and healthtech, to name a few. Some of our clients include OLIO, Oddbox, Doctify and Numan.

We’re on the lookout for our first Tech Recruiter to join our team of 8, to start asap. 

 

** Minimum 1 year’s agency experience in tech recruitment**

 

We’re looking for someone with a great attitude, confidence, a proactive nature and heaps of drive. you’ll need to have a gregarious personality and ready to hit the ground running with experience of recruiting tech roles.

 

You’ll primarily be looking after one retained account but lots of the businesses we currently work with also need support with the tech hiring needs.

What will you be doing?

 

  • This role will be a mix of sourcing, client management and potentially new business.
  • Manage, develop and nurture existing accounts and relationships.
  • Advising clients on job descriptions to help them attract the best talent.
  • Manage the interview and recruiting process for candidates from identification and engagement all the way through to negotiation and closing
  • Building your own personal brand and network to engage with your market.

About you:

 

  • A tech recruiter with full lifecycle recruiting experience – ideally within an agency working with start-ups and scale-ups in London
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, agile environment
  • You’ll have an immense drive to succeed and build a new area in the business for MDT
  • You have a thorough understanding of the sourcing process and can think outside the box to identify and secure the right candidate
  • You’re able to manage a candidate confidently through the recruitment process, using their motivations to overcome objections along the way
  • Passionate about your market and actively embed yourself in the community
  • You’re collaborative and able to thrive in a team
  • You’re organised and able to prioritise tasks effectively
  • Able to implement advanced searches and sourcing strategies for high-priority roles
  • Experience using engagement platforms, primarily LinkedIn Recruiter but preferably going beyond LinkedIn and standard channels
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • You’re passionate about sustainability, social impact and all things start-up
  • Your own laptop or Mac (we can pay a quarterly fee to rent the use of it once you’ve passed probation)

  • Uncapped commission
  • Quarterly targets for promotion 
  • 20 days’ holiday + 1 day in the week in which your birthday falls + 2 “duvet days” + bank holidays. MDT also closes for business over the Christmas period and these days do not need to be taken as holiday.
  • Training and situational based coaching
  • Remote first working – work from home but join the team in London for team working days
