About the Team
The HR team is a team of 8, including this role. As ambassadors of the culture at Gerald Eve, HR aims to offer a best in class level of
service across the firm in an approachable and friendly way. The team is structured to provide generalist support to all areas of the
business as well as take part in strategic projects. We are at an exciting point in time, navigating new ways of working as the firm
looks to grow and the HR team are central in managing a wide range of projects to drive process improvement.

Job Description
This role is to take a lead on implementing our D&I strategy across the firm, helping to embed inclusivity in all that we do. We are at
an exciting time in our D&I  journey, gaining a lot of momentum and positive feedback from the business. We have formulated a
strategy for the next 12 months which this role will help refine, develop as needs change and roll out. We would expect the
individual in this role to be the subject matter expert on D&I , sharing your knowledge and best practice across the firm.
Main responsibilities
– Implement the D&I  strategy, working closely with the D&I  Committee, Partners and HR team using project management
skills to manage projects within set time frames
– Work closely with the HR and marketing teams to raise the profile of D&I  activities both internally and externally by
creating an internal communication plan
– Network with, and build relationships with both new and existing external partners in support of the firm’s D&I  Strategy,
working with them to carry out audits, and carrying out any follow up actions
– Supporting the employee networks we currently have (e.g. LGBTQ+), and assisting in the creation of new internal
networks where needed
– Take ownership of the collection and analysis of ED&I data across all points in the employee life cycle
– Work with our recruitment advisor to improve the diversity of candidate pools and advising on inclusive recruitment
practices
– Alongside the HR team, assist in emerging talent initiatives that support our D&I  strategy (e.g. Change100 and 10,000
Black Interns)
– In collaboration with the HR team, help create D&I  plans for each business group using data and feedback to bring focus
to target areas
– Lead on any submissions for D&I  reports, benchmarking, audits or awards – including our gender and ethnicity pay gap
reporting
– Respond to queries from our Bids team on D&I data
– Run regular D&I  reports for internal needs, as well as client requests
– Manage the D&I  budget alongside the HR Training & Projects Manager
– Provide advice and guidance to the HR team on D&I  policies and their application, provide advice and challenge team
members on applying a D&I lens to our work
– Actively develop and maintain a network of D&I relationships inside and outside the industry
– Keep up to date with new legislation, procedures and best practice and incorporate updates to our policies and
procedures
– Develop and maintain ways of assessing the impact of initiatives
About you
– You will have previous D&I experience and be able to evidence examples of where you have taken a lead in rolling out
D&I initiatives and measuring their success
– Ability to provide advice and guidance on D&I
– Demonstrable ability to build relationships at all levels of an organisation and influence key stakeholders
– Excellent communication skills, including writing communication for internal and external publication
– Ability to collaborate and engage people across all levels of seniority
– Fully aware of data protection legislation
– Experience of project management
– Numerical ability to gather, analyse and summarise data – advanced knowledge of excel would be advantageous
– Friendly and personable, able to build rapport and trust quickly with individuals

Hybrid working and core hours
Our hybrid working policy outlines staff to be in the office for 3 days per week, with 2 days working from home (pro rated for part
time). In our London offices, our desk booking app allows you to plan ahead, and book your desk up to 3 weeks ahead. We also
offer great flexibility around our core hours, which are from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. You can choose to start and end your day
around these hours, provided you still do your 7.25 hours per day (e.g. 8.00 am – 4.30pm, 10.00 am – 6.30 pm). There is no
requirement for this to be the same each day, but you are required to keep your manager informed. This position also involves out
of hours working on an ‘as necessary’ basis. We are open to considering flexible working arrangements for everyone; this can be
discussed during the application process or upon commencement.
