Current Team Information / The Role
•   Within the Residential Research & Consultancy team, our work continues to be in high demand and we have an opportunity for an Associate to join the team. This is a permanent role based in our central London HQ.
•   We provide research and consultancy on residential property to both internal and external clients. Our external clients include national government, house builders, developers, housing associations, charities, and investors.
•   We also write market leading research publications. These provide our clients with market intelligence and insightful analysis. They often feature in national newspapers, such as the Financial Times, The Times and The Telegraph.
•   Your role will be to help prepare analysis and reports to answer a broad range of questions on residential development, planning, investment and sales.
•   Relevant skills are outlined below, however as a graduate role, we would provide the necessary training and support to guide you through your development at Savills.
Key Responsibilities
•   Preparation of analysis and reports for clients aimed at answering a wide range of questions relating to residential investment and development.
•   Interrogating data to provide insights for clients.
•   Analysing published data and in-house market intelligence, gathered through Savills network of UK offices.
•   Collaborating with research colleagues to establish market trends and drivers.
•   Presenting analysis and commentary to the wider research team and our clients.
•   You will be required to be a committed team player and get involved in a variety of projects and activities within the research team.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience
·        Degree qualified, with an aptitude for quantitative techniques, an analytical approach to completing assignments and strong attention to detail.
·        Excellent written English and oral communication skills, with the ability to present your findings in a professional, logical and engaging way.
·        Strong IT & Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. A desire to learn how to use other packages, such as GIS mapping
·        Can demonstrate an ability to draw conclusions from a variety of sources, including primary data analysis and reports produced by others in the industry or  academia.
·        Ability to construct an argument in a logical and accessible way.
·        An interest in news, current affairs and the residential property market is an advantage.
·        Good time management with the ability to prioritise tasks and work on a diverse range of ongoing projects.
·        Personal skills suited to working with a professional team environment as well as for a range of clients both within and outside of the Savills business.
