What kind of person would fit in?
We are looking for ambitious individuals from a business development or related commercial background, who have demonstrable experience working and excelling in a tech recruitment or tech services business.
The person is likely to be a self-starter, who can work on their own accord and does not need to be closely managed. We will set targets and support you. If you are looking for a very structured and hierarchical organisation, we are probably not for you.
We also look for curious people, who love learning, improving themselves and creating new ideas and concepts.
We have a monthly podcast, a quarterly webinar and a content strategy mapped out for 2021, so we are big on content creation and amplifying our brands.
What does the role look like?
Working within our business development and delivery department, you will be accountable for both opening and developing new accounts for the bedigital group of companies and brands and you will be supporting them to pipeline and deliver resources for new and existing client projects. You will be expected to take ownership of your roles and keep all internal/external stakeholders briefed on your progress.
You will have proven recruitment or sales experience, and will be an innovative, progressive thinker. Supported by a great team, you will be encouraged to work autonomously and effectively represent bedigital.
The ideal candidate will have an established contact list and a proven track record of establishing and running a profitable operation within a tech recruitment or professional services environment.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
- Lead generation and industry research to find suitable organisations to approach
- Utilise our lead generation platform to create and manage targeted BD campaigns
- Schedule calls and appointments with potential leads – achieving agreed KPIs and conversations
- Utilise tools available to identify and approach leads; LinkedIn, social media and email
- Build strong relationships with your network, consistently attending local networking events to grow and develop your personal network and the bedigital brands
- CRM Management – Keep the CRM up to date and GDPR compliant, tracking all activity through our system to ensure continuity and efficiency
- Accurately evaluate candidates and manage the recruitment life-cycle
- Build a network of talent pools, ensuring continuous talent pipelines for future projects.
- Identify opportunities and cross-sell our services; staff augmentation, technical solutions and talent management – aligned to the needs of the client
Essential Skills and Experience:
- Solid exposure in a sales and business development role, with evidence of consistently achieving targets
- Demonstrable experience within a business environment, with very strong commercial awareness
- Innovative thinker with an entrepreneurial mindset, looking to carve a successful career
- Highly proficient at content creation and ideally some base level design skills (although there is support on this)
- Worked within the tech space or have an in-depth interest / knowledge of all thing’s tech would be advantageous
- Previous experience delivering to live recruitment requirements, ideally within the tech sector
- Previous exposure to developing and delivering client presentations to both small and large groups
- Desire to build your personal brand and actively seek opportunities to grow the bedigital brand through social media, innovative marketing and public speaking
