Savills in-house PR & Comms team is committed to supporting the business and providing clients with advice to promote projects or protect them from press exposure. The team is operational 24/7, 365 days of the year and manages internal and external communications. They aim to integrate press awareness into Savills culture from the earliest possible stage to safeguard clients and the business.

The Role & Key Responsibilities

The Role

Savills is looking for an innovative and experienced editor to review our approach and refresh our internal communications across the Savills Group. With previous experience of content strategy and storytelling this role offers an opportunity to directly influence the employee experience. We welcome a strong ideas generator, with a sense of accountability and focus on measurable results. The key platforms will be our intranet and email, although we welcome ideas to further expand the channels to ensure content and leadership messages engage employees.

You must be results driven with a passion for improving engagement and delivering internal news that our people want to read. We need to tell compelling stories putting people first and highlighting our strong and diverse workforce whilst also sharing information on operations and systems.

The employee audience will be UK, EMEA and linking with US and Asia Pac. Your previous experience in a media news outlet or similar internal role, knowing how to draw people in and deliver good quality information will be vital.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire compelling, relevant content and drive engagement, likely readership.
  • Curate content guided by business needs, audience preferences, and user data.
  • Manage content production, budgets, and timelines.
  • Collaborate with other international teams to improve the performance of central content.
  • Work with the existing team to develop our service to our internal stakeholders.

  • You are committed to listening to and working with colleagues across all geographies to share their stories.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

• Qualification (degree level) preferably in journalism or publishing.

  • Solid experience in content creation and editorial curation both for online platforms and newsletters, preferably for a media outlet or brand.
  • Experienced in managing stakeholder relations across multiple teams and disciplines.
