You will be joining a growing team of 75+ marketing professionals at an exciting moment in Savills 165 year history as we evolve as a marketing team to support the next chapter of the businesses growth agenda under the leadership of Victoria Bennett.
You will be based out of our new temporary office in Rathbone Place in London (our home for the next 12 months). You will be empowered to balance your time, and that of your team, effectively based on your stakeholder needs and the business objectives.
This is a rare opportunity to play a fundamental marketing leadership role for one of the most successful and prestigious Real Estate brand in the world as we accelerate our marketing transformation programme. We are seeking a self-motivated, highly creative and socially native experienced Head of Social Media to own the continued development and growth of our Global and UK Savills social media channels, and provide oversight and global coordination across the many local social channels internationally. You will lead on all aspects of global social strategy development in alignment with our global reputational, brand and business goals; deliver the measurement and evaluation framework globally; and lead the delivery of integrated campaigns and channel management for our global and UK accounts.
You will have a strong understanding of the current social media landscape. Working with corporate and consumer communications teams, as well as cross-channel marketing, you will develop a strong social content strategy with a distinct & credible Savills voice and robust amplification plans developed in partnership with the Digital Marketing (Performance Marketing) teams to achieve measurable results.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of leading teams, creating successful strategic social media campaigns with measurable results, working closely with internal or external clients. We are seeking a strategic and creative thinker with strong writing skills and a keen eye for social-friendly content (across various media formats like video, static, etc.) who has a sharp understanding of building and leveraging consumer and reputation narratives on social media, and facilitating close collaboration with influencers and other opinion leaders, and always start with the customer and work backwards to create insight driven campaigns. The successful candidate will be passionate, self-motivated, innovative and able to pivot when necessary.
This role reports into the Head of Brand & Marketing, Savills UK and has a dotted line into Group Head of Digital and Head of Group, UK and EMEA PR and Coms. You will work closely with various in-country Marketing and Comms leads and the wider Global Communications Team to develop a social-first and audience-centric strategy, plans and campaigns to enhance Savills reputation in the country across internal and external stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
•   Create and lead the development of an integrated global social media strategy and the owned execution for Savills Global and UK channels across multiple platforms and territories including LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube and coming soon Tiktok
•   Work with the Content & Engagement team and Corporate Communications to formulate content plans to ensure social media outlets are populated with fresh, interesting and innovative content.
•   Closely collaborate with marketing and communications to produce social campaigns from within the organization by colleagues, the in-house studio, as well as managing external agency partners to create campaigns and experiences for Savills where relevant.
•   Own the processes, tools and playbooks associated to the optimal running and governance  of the social media channels including share platforms, social media management and monitoring tools.
•   Set goals and benchmarks for social media performance within the wider marketing objectives sets and parameters
•   Set up and manage ongoing reporting process to give visibility to content and social metrics.
•   Campaign management, ensuring campaigns are fully integrated across the business, meeting objectives and delivering ROI.
•   Define the Client Services and Community Management social media strategy in conjunction with the Service Teams and Corporate Comms.
•   Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice, and optimised for search and user experience.
•   Work in conjunction with marketing communications team to maximise branding opportunities.
•   Work alongside global advocacy and local advocacy teams, to execute social plans including training and governance to empower colleagues through social media.
•   Responsible for the efficient deployment of budget aligned to overall goals
•   Responsible for managing, retaining and inspiring the social media team
•   Utilizing industry and customer insights to inform strategies and remain an expert regarding on-going social trends and new platforms

Who you are is more important than where you have previously worked. We are genuinely open minded about the industries you have experience of in your career to date, but would like to hope you understand working in both a B2B and B2C environment and importantly understand the different approaches, tactics and content that would work for both. This is a hands on role and requires the right individual who is comfortable working in a fast paced environment and who is able to pivot priorities based on an ever changing market.
Additionally, you will be/have:
•   You’ll display a consumer first mindset always.
•   Social media native must be a given
•   Experience working in/with a big brand and/or complex global organisation like Savills
•   Experience in developing plans and strategies for different audiences and sectors, and across multiple geographies
•   A mix of agency and in-house experience, across brand marketing, communications and content is ideal
•   Understands intimately the value of and ‘art and commerce’ on social and how to balance both
•   Can derive insight from data and apply learning to social strategy
•   Experience in funnel management, conversion and analytics
•   Experience working with influencers (employees and external)
•   Process orientated with a keen attention to detail and quality
•   Excellent leadership, team management and communication skills
•   Adept at managing multiple stakeholders
•   Have the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely manner
•   Have a flexible and professional attitude
•   Have exceptional organizational and prioritising skills and show great attention to detail and be results-driven
•   Experienced in devising and implementing strategic plans with creative flair
