Digital Site Merchandiser International, Private: Space NK

Our e-commerce business is helping to set the beauty trend globally. This role supports the Head of Digital, in utilising actionable insights to deliver initiatives that grow Space NK’s international business. It is a hugely exciting role that will see you deliver a best-in-class customer experience in our growing international markets.

The right Online Merchandiser will have a deep understanding of what drives international e-commerce sales, an interest in researching new markets, as well as a passion for driving exceptional customer experience. If you also have an interest in beauty, that’s a huge plus.

The Online Merchandiser will work cross-functionally with the Product, Brand and Business Development teams to achieve sales plans and conversion goals. This role requires a balance of day-to-day-tactics and longer-term contributions to achieve our ambitious growth plans.

Key responsibilities:

●     Together with the Head of Digital own the revenue targets for Space NK’s non UK digital business.

●     Take responsibility for planning and forecasting digital budgets for territories ex. the UK.

●     Continually identify opportunities for international growth; managing international growth and promotion plans at country and territory level as appropriate.

●     Collaborate with our internal technology teams to extend our localisation capability; briefing salesforce functionality improvements and onboarding partners as appropriate.

●     Localise on-site journeys for international customers including product merchandising, the checkout/payment methods, edits, mega menus etc. Working cross-functionally with colleagues in Design and Marketing on creative elements and ensuring all site information is both correct and relevant to the customer.

●     Work with the buying team to ensure we understand and act on local brand/product trends and demand.

●     Work with our customer services team to continually remove international customer pain points.

●     Briefing language localisation elements to third parties as required.

●     Develop and maximise relationships with our strategic partnerships to generate additional revenue for non-domestic territories.

●     Reporting on international performance daily, weekly and monthly for trade; feeding insight, performance and incrementality to the Head of Digital and Trading and Optimisation Manager.




Skills and experience:

●     3-5 years of experience in digital merchandising

●     Experience of localisation/non-domestic territories and opportunities and challenges this can present.

●     Highly analytical and results-driven with strong excel skills

●     Detailed understanding of web analytics and key KPI’s.

●     Experience of Salesforce commerce cloud, GA, Contentsquare and a BI tool all highly desirable.

●     Organised and detail-orientated.

●     Strong communication skills
